ANGELICA Hotel is a newly rennovated and upgraded A' Class Hotel in Hydra Town that is open all year round. It is a multi-faceted accommodation with standard rooms, superior rooms, VIP rooms as well as the economical annex next door and the Villa Angelica, a private villa. A small, traditional, family run hotel, 250m from the port, in one of the most beautifully renovated island buildings. Both the rooms and the reception area are decorated in local island style, and the traditional colours prevail. General facilities: central heating, snack bar, TV lounge, reception. Breakfast is served in a pleasant garden. All the rooms have their own bathroom with a shower,air-conditioning, T.V and telephone. Most of the rooms lead into a balcony or terrace.. All rooms have private facilities. Some rooms have sea view. There are 8 VIP Rooms with special attention to detail and a delightful note of Old-Fashioned charm and luxury. All the rooms have veranda - Balcony, Private jacuzzi, A/C & Heating, Satelite T.V., Safe, Telephone, Mini Fridge, Hair Dryer, Complete set of Kore Cosmetics in the bathroom, Daily cleaning service too. Also, all the V.I.P. Rooms can use the mini pool and the personal sauna in the garden, of the V.I.P. Building. The Angelica Hotel also offer bedrooms in their Annex which is next door to the main hotel. The accommodation is not as elegant as in the main building but perfectly comfortable if you're looking for a more economical solution to a family holiday but with the benefits of breakfast and the use of the amenities in the main building.... Villa Angelica - situated next door to the main hotel, is a self-contained, private villa provides accommodation for 6 persons in 3 double bedrooms. A large air-conditioned living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom plus extra WC/washroom, huge roof terrace with built in BBQ ... Hydra is situated 42 nautical miles from Piraeus, which is the port for Athens, the capital of Greece. The Hotel Angelica is situated on the central road of the island and is about 3 minutes from the port. It is the only one island in Greece and in the European Common Market where there are no cars, except for 3 trucks which belong to the municipality and are used for garbage collection. Any other cars are strictly forbidden, including the use of bicycles and scooters. The island is popular with artists and hosts many cultural events during the year. It is ideal for those who are interested in nature and has many walks with breathtaking scenery. Hydra is an island of leaders and has given birth to 5 Prime Ministers, 1 President of the Democracy, about 50 Political Ministers and an Archbishop.
