| MENELAION Hotel - B' Class - In Sparta The Menelaion Hotel is a traditional neo-classical building built in 1935 and completely refurbished. It is in the prettiest street in Sparta, lined with palm trees, a few steps from the town centre. Its rooms all have a bathroom, hot and cold air-conditioning, satellite TV, a choice of three music channels, a mini-bar, a telephone with a direct outside line and direct room-to-room connections. It also has suites for VIP's and newlyweds and adjoining rooms with communicating doors for families. The hotel has a n access ramp and rooms suitably laid out for people with special needs. All the public places are on the ground floor and are air-conditioned; they include the reception, a large comfortable lounge, cafeteria, bar, restaurant, pool bar and swimming pool. The swimming pool is for the use of the guests and the surrounding area is laid out so that they may breakfast, lunch or dine there. On the ground floor there is a TV-room and small assembly room that holds 50 persons. To better serve the guests the hotel provides computerised reception and room service throughout the 24 hours, maid service twice a day, and individual safe-deposit boxes as well as facilities for washing and ironing clothes, sending and receiving faxes and payment of bills with VISA and MASTER cards. It also welcomes the guests' small pets. The bank in the same building and the other banks a short distance from the hotel complete the amenities offered by the Menelaion Hotel to its guests. |
