| KARALIS BEACH Hotel - B' Superior Class - In Pylos A better position is difficult to imagine - just above the sea, with pine trees to either side and the Turkish castle behind, and a five minute walk from Pylos' characterful harbour. The hotel has only 14 rooms, all nicely furnished and with en suite shower/WC (some with bath) and A/C - half of them have a balcony with views over the bay to the islets. The top floor has a coffee-bar, with a large terrace directly above the sea where you can relax with a drink and enjoy the view. However, in the peak season the hotel caters for holiday making Greeks, has a night-club and can be noisy. During this period, or when the Karalis Beach is full, we would recommend a stay at their sister-hotel, the Karalis Hotel, on the road above the harbour and also fully air-conditioned. |
