BOURAZANI HOTEL - B' Class - In Bourazani Bourazani Hotel is located 12kms from Konitsa and 60kms north of Ioannina and is open all year. It is isolated in the park through which the river Aoos runs. It is built out of wood and stone and well designed and furnished. It consists of 20 rooms with bathroom, TV, phone and music. General facilities include a very good restaurant, where game and a variety of other dishes can be enjoyed, pool, bar, tennis and basket ball courts and spacious public areas. There is a private park (1200 acres) where clients can participate in photo safari tours. Various wild animals (e.g. deer, wild-goats, wild boars) live in the park. Near the hotel there is a restored water-mill, wood-carving workshop, the monastery "Molyvthoskepastou" built in the 7th century, a distillery of "tsipouro" (a very strong spirit like Ouzo) and the watch-tower of the Greek-Albanian borders. You can visit the above either on foot or by car. |
