If you are in the city on a family holiday or on business for a few days or for a few weeks, you’ll find this residence comfortably designed to suit your taste.
Facilities:
The residence is located on the 3rd floor and is the penthouse of a three story apartment building with garden.
It is 135 square meters, has three bedrooms - a master bedroom with a double bed and two normal with a single bed each, however the residence can sleep up to 8 people in total with the addition of more beds.
A fully equipped kitchen is available with kitchenware such as cutlery, plates, glasses, cups, casseroles, coffee maker and teaware. The kitchen is connected to the living room which has a couch, dining table and two wing chairs.
There is a fireplace with wood, stereo system and color TV.
For your personal care there are two fully equipped bathrooms (one W/C) with three sinks in total, tub, shower and bowl including Italian-made cosmetics and soft towels.
The residence is surrounded by a large balcony which is equipped with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The balcony has a view to the sea and the mountain.

Neighborhood Information:
The area is strictly residential, and used to be a former American base resident neighborhood, when the American base was near by. It is very quiet and secure. Glyfada is a coastal community so you are close to the sea.
Metropolitan Park: In less than 1,000 meters away is constructing the Athens Metropolitan park, where the Old Athens Airport and the American base used to be. It is positioned in a huge land area and it is going to be the largest park in Europe!
Metro: By the end of 2008, the Athens Metro will expand its service near the Park, connecting directly to the center of Athens and the Airport.
Highway Junction: in about 500 meters away, the area will be connected with the Attica road junction that will be connected directly to the Airport and as well as Egnatia Superhighway ending up in Northen Greece.
Supermarkets: there are three local supermarkets carrying popular brands, and there is also a large one with specialties in one and a half mile away (6 minutes with the car).
Bakery / Coffee shops: There are three very good bakeries very close, with excellent pies, croissants and dairies. If you love good coffee, there is a boutique cafe with a great barista just 2 minutes away, and you will find the local Starbucks just opposite.
Restaurants: the area is known for its taverns, which are a little bit far to walk. You will mainly find pizzas, souvlaki houses and oriental taverns, however all of these do deliveries with no extra charge. For more upscale restaurants you have to visit Glyfada center, approximately 8 minutes away with the car.
Pastry shops: Greeks are known for their delicacies so the neighborhood has three excellent pastry shops, one of them has been nationally awarded. The other one is specialised in profiteroles.
Hair/Nails: just across the small square underneath there is a hairdresser salon. An early appointment is necessary.
Banks: full of it, within walking distance - Citibank as well.
Dry cleaning: There are two but you have to walk 8 minutes away.
Gas station/Car service: For gas station there is one in the same block, unfortunately there is no service station, only for tires.
About Us
The building is owned and managed by a Greek family, living in Athens, Greece.
It was built in 1980 with the purpose to house the entire family together, the parents and two children. The owners have paid close attention to the construction materials as it was meant to house them, and have used rigid concrete and double isolation walls, with strong antiseismic protection.
In 2004, the family rented the entire building to the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Committee who used it to house the costume designers. The family then moved out of Athens and remained there since.
Since the members have been working outside of Greece the family decided to sell 1st and 2nd floor and rent the 3rd (the penthouse) as a serviced apartment for short stays.

Note that the apartment is only available for a 1 week minimum stay. The price is 120 euros per day for the entire apartment sleeping four persons x 7 days = 840per week.
